Kelly Clarkson’s glamorous pregnancy: Vomiting a dozen times a day
Kelly Clarkson is happy to be pregnant, but she’s really not enjoying the physical process very much at all. As far as she’s concerned, morning sickness goes way beyond morning, and the whole “glow” thing is a big fat lie.
Clarkson told Ellen DeGeneres on Friday, while promoting her new Christmas album, that women who are bubbly about how great pregnancy is and how little they feel sick are definitely off her friend list right now.
“I want to like hit all of them with my car,” said the buoyant singer. “I vomit a good dozen times a day. Like, it’s like bad. Like, I vomited before coming out here and I had a peppermint so you didn’t” — dare we call what came next a pregnant pause? — “It’s like so gross.”

It was indeed a little TMI for DeGeneres, whose look to the camera was priceless. When Clarkson later informed her that the adrenaline burst that comes from being interviewed kept her from feeling sick, the host was pleased, as she said she didn’t have “a bucket or anything” on set.
The singer is also missing out on a supposed perk of being 11 weeks preggers: the pretty part.
“You’re not attractive when you’re pregnant,” she said. “Everyone tells you, ‘Oh, you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty.’ and that’s total crap. ... I have no glow.”
Clarkson then revealed a secret from her wedding: It took her a long time to get through her vows, because she was blubbering the whole time.
“I couldn’t get my vows out,” she admitted, as peaceful shots of bride and groom were shown in the background. “We wrote our own vows, and people tell you to do that, and it was the worst decision.”
The interview is pretty hilarious. Check it out above, and then tell us you didn’t fall just a little bit in love with the mom-to-be.
