Royals visit youth center, say Prince George is growing fast

The former Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge, visited the Only Connect charity in London on Tuesday to meet with rehabilitated prisoners and at-risk youths.

Besides making headlines for Catherine’s recycling of another outfit (a brown Orla Kiely dress she wore in February 2012 while visiting an art class in Oxford, the Daily Mail pointed out), the couple also shared a few details about their growing baby boy, Prince George, during the visit.

The couple was greeted by a cheering crowd on Pentonville Road in Euston during their crime-prevention visit to O.C. Central. They also met with other charities, including Bounce Back and Handmade Alliance, and were treated to performance by dance troupe Dance United.

Additionally, the royals’ interaction with 22-year-old Aaron Russell-Andrews and his little girl, Teegan, 20 months old, elicited quite a bit of attention.

Russell-Andrews has been involved with the charity for four years after a history that includes robbery, burglary and vehicle theft.

Kate “was very pleased that Only Connect has helped me make such a big change with my life and keep me on the right path,” he said.

The now professional actor presented Kate with a onesie, or “babygro,” emblazoned with the charity’s logo and Prince George’s name below.

“She was very pleased about it,” Russell-Andrews said. “She said it’s a very good fit because he’s growing very fast, and that he’ll like it.

“Teegan tried to take back the babygro, she’s very cheeky,” he said, adding, “the duchess said that they’re very demanding at this age.”
