John Mayer, Katy Perry reveal intimate art for ‘Who You Love’
John Mayer and Katy Perry are giving couples portraits a whole new meaning.
The singers debuted the intimate art for their duet “Who You Love” on Mayer’s Tumblr account Monday and seem pretty pleased with the result.
“I’m excited to give you the first look at the single artwork for ‘Who You Love,’ shot by the great Mario Sorrenti,” the 36-year-old crooner wrote. “And yes, we look like this at home pretty much all the time.”

The affectionate single appears on Mayer’s sixth studio album “Paradise Valley.” Perry, 29, the most popular celebrity on Twitter, beckoned her more than 48 million followers to check out the photos and download the single Monday.
Mayer also urged fans to then head over to Vanity Fair to see the additional black and white images from the photo shoot, which include portraits of the pair plus pics of the couple lazing about on a couch, Mayer affectionately kissing Perry’s neck and a candid of the singer posing with his guitar.
Mayer’s official Twitter account also shared an Instagram video from behind the scenes of the cover shoot.
The singers, who started dating on and off six months after Perry and comedian Russell Brand divorced in 2012, made it very clear that they were on-again back in June.
Mayer, a notorious Hollywood playboy, previously called “Who You Love” an “interesting bend” on proclamations of love.
“I kicked around this song about you love who you love,” Mayer told Billboard. “It’s also a confessional for myself. I started singing [the song], ‘My girl, she ain’t the one I saw coming and sometimes I don’t know which way to go and I tried to run before, but I’m not running anymore...’
“I tried to be alone and I can’t,” he added. “It’s a really fun opportunity for her to write like her answer to that. So, you get these two sides to this relationship that are brutally honest.”
Well, it’s better than the love fest that went down in “Bound 2,” we suppose.
