You never know what’s going to come out of Jennifer Lawrence’s mouth.

The latest example: When she told Conan O’Brien about her sex toy stash. It should be noted, “The Hunger Games” and “American Hustle” star claims she only had it as a joke.

The interview, which aired Wednesday, started out innocently enough with O’Brien asking the Oscar-winner what her alternate career path might have been.

“I recently changed it,” the 23-year-old said. “It used to be like doctor but that’s just unrealistic. But definitely I would be a hotel maid because it’s all of my favorite cleaning. I don’t like dishes and I don’t like the kitchen but I love beds and bathrooms and spraying and going through everybody’s stuff. Everyday there’s like new people to snoop on. It would be my dream!”

Yes, it’s true. Lawrence has talked about her thing for cleaning in the past.

“Do you worry that when you’re staying at a hotel, since it’s your fantasy, do you worry anybody’s going to be snooping and looking at your stuff?” O’Brien asked.

“This is actually really funny. Somebody as a joke bought me a bunch of butt plugs. It’s a long story,” she said, laughing, but the audience, O’Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter ate that right up.

“So I had a copious amount of butt plugs,” she continued. “Tons of butt plugs. Huge amounts of different colored butt plugs and then the maid was coming so I was like, ‘Well I’ll just shove this under the bed so she doesn’t see all these butt plugs.’ She might not know they’re for a joke.”

OK, we’ve all shoved something embarrassing under the bed before, but here’s where it gets interesting.

“Then I came back and all of them were brought out of the bed and were in this beautiful display on my bedside table,” she said. “I think she knew what she was doing. They’re under the bed. I wanted to leave a note like, ‘not mine’ or ‘bought as joke.’”

But there’s no recovering from that. We’re pretty sure that housekeeper had a great story to tell too.

Lawrence also decided to share another story about her childhood nickname, “Nitro,” short for nitroglycerin, because she “was unstoppably and uncontrollably hyper.” Instead, she revealed that she still wet the bed at age 13.

“It was really embarrassing because every day I’d go to school and I’d be like ‘today I’m going to get it together, I’m gonna be cool, I’m gonna be calm.’ And then I’d show up -- I was like 13 and I peed my pants when I was in seventh grade. Or not peed my pants, I peed when I was sleeping. I wet the bed and I just thought, ‘Who wets the bed when they’re 13?’ And so I couldn’t wait to get to school and tell everybody.

“Then I went into the bleachers and was like, ‘Everybody, ... I wet the bed last night’ thinking everybody was going to think that was so funny and cool and it was just silent.”

And so are we.
