Frankie Muniz of “Malcolm in the Middle” fame has suffered another mini-stroke, his second in a little less than a year.

“Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke,” he wrote Monday on Twitter. “Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable.”

The actor -- he’s also a drummer for the band Kingsfoil now -- had his first mini-stroke on Nov. 30, 2012. He made that scare public on Twitter as well.

His first transient ischemic attack occurred after a morning workout in his Phoenix hometown, while he was riding his motorcycle. He reportedly found himself unable to see out of his right eye or to speak by the time he arrived at his destination.

Muniz has not yet revealed details about the second mini-stroke. He went to an ER the first time around.

Last year, as speculation swirled about the cause of the attack, he told “Good Morning America” that he had “literally to this day never had a sip of alcohol in my life. I’ve never had any drugs. I’ve never even smoked a cigarette.” He did admit to People, however, that he eats “like a 7- to 10-year-old-kid.”

Doctors never determined the cause of the first mini-stroke, according to TMZ.

“My biggest problem is I always want to be working, going nonstop,” he told People last year. “So it’s a wake-up call to take a little time and relax a bit.”

A mini-stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain stops temporarily, according to the National Institutes of Health. It is seen as a warning sign that a full stroke could occur in the future.
