Emma Stone has a new ‘do to go along with her new film.

“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” star debuted a bob-like haircut and blunt bangs for the film’s world premiere Thursday night at New York’s Ziegfeld Theater, where she was the picture of elegance in a a cream-colored cut-out gown by Prada. The Italian fashion house also supplied her with the shoes and clutch, and she wore Sidney Garber jewelry, according to Just Jared.

The 25-year-old slipped into a shorter Victoria Beckham frock for the premiere’s after-party at Skylight at Moynihan Station.

Andrew Garfield, Stone’s boyfriend and costar in the film, also debuted a new buzz cut at the premiere. (But Stone totally wins the style prize of the night. Sorry, Spidey.)

Stone’s stylist, Mara Roszak, a L’Oréal Paris consulting celebrity stylist, explained to E! News what she was going for with her client’s latest look.

“I wanted the bangs to have a ‘70s feel,” she said. “I wanted them to be slightly choppy and on the longer side. I like these type of bangs to have longer pieces on the sides for a softer look.”

Stone had opted for bangs in the past, “but it had been a little while” since she rocked the forehead fringe, Roszak said.

She was joined by the film’s producers Matt Tolmach and Avi Arad as well as costars Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHaan for the promotional appearance.

A costumed Spider-Man (not Garfield) joined them all for the occasion.

Also on Friday, the actress helped kids paint a mural during the Be Amazing Volunteer Day held in Queens, while Garfield visited a school in the Bronx as part of the same project.
