Emile Hirsch welcomes first baby boy
While Emile Hirsch has been cast to portray comedian John Belushi in a biopic about the funnyman, he can revel in other good news: Hirsch is now a father!
The “Lone Survivor” actor welcomed his first child -- a baby boy -- last Sunday in Florida, with an unnamed woman he formerly dated. The baby’s name is Valor, coming in at 6 pounds and 2 ounces.
“He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy. Everyone is so excited and happy,” a source exclusively told E! News.
Hirsch met his son’s mother at an Oscar after-party this year, E! News reports. The pair are in good standing and will raise their child collectively, the source said.
“Emile showed up after the baby was born and he is spending time bonding with his new child,” the source added.
On the day of his son’s birth, Hirsch tweeted, “Love to all my followers, beautiful Sunday.” The 28-year-old actor has kept mum on Twitter since then. But when a guy has a new baby, he gets a free Twitter pass, right? Hirsch also has yet to publicly comment on his new role as a dad.
About three weeks earlier, Hirsch admitted other baby news on Twitter: “I am in fact @RonanFarrow ‘s biological father,” he joked, as rumors swirled that Frank Sinatra could possibly be the father of Mia Farrow’s son, Ronan.
All in fun -- and Hirsch is now really a father to his own little guy.
