‘Nikita’s’ Devon Sawa, wife welcome a baby boy

Former teen idol Devon Sawa may pass on his heartthrob legacy yet: The actor has welcomed a baby boy.

The “Nikita” actor and his wife Dawni had their first child, Hudson,” on Jan. 9, his rep told People magazine.

The little guy is “8 lbs., 1 oz. of pure love,” the “Final Destination” alum said in a statement to the mag, sharing a close-up pic of the tyke.

Apparently, the 35-year-old teased followers on Twitter last weekend, writing, “The most amazing week ever.”

On Thursday, Sawa was back on social media professing his love for Hudson.

“I love him. He’s my little pride and joy,” he tweeted.

The new parents announced the pregnancy in early December, according to E! News, and soon after, Sawa shared a pic of Hudson’s nursery.

“Arrived today, room’s almost done,” he wrote, captioning a photo of the crib and what appeared to be a jungle themed nursery. He continued to post photos of the room’s progress in later weeks.

“Nikita” aired its series finale on the CW on Dec. 27, 2013, and Sawa sent it off with an optimistic outlook.

“Prediction: Millions of new fans are going to discover NIKITA on Netflix, Amazon,(etc.) in the next few years & ask ‘why didn’t this last?!’” he wrote.
