Caitlyn Jenner gave the world a backstage peek into her new life Thursday, posting a picture of a team prepping her before her ESPY Awards appearance the night before.

"Behind the scenes of the most incredible, unforgettable night," she wrote. "It takes a village... #GlamSquad #ESPYs."

The 65-year-old had already acknowledged all the effort that went into creating her look when she took the stage in her Versace gown to accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award on Wednesday night. "Picking out this outfit. OK, girls, I get it. You've got to get the shoes, the hair, the makeup, the whole process is, was exhausting,'' Jenner said. "Fashion police, go easy on me. I'm new at this."

And while it was her first red carpet opportunity since transitioning, Jenner hadn't had to worry about any "Fashion Police" moment upon arrival. "Caitlyn will not walk the red carpet and is not doing any media at all," an event organizer told the New York Daily News the day of the show. "She will be there to accept her award." Jenner also kept mum on social media before posting the backstage photo.

To prep for the evening, Jenner had hired stylist Jen Rade, who's worked with, among many others, Angelina Jolie, Cher, Pink, Jada Pinkett Smith and — wait for it — Kim Kardashian. And, yes, as Us Weekly pointed out, there were similarities between the ESPYs dress and the white, long-sleeved Versace that Jolie wore to the premiere of "The Tourist" in 2010. If it ain't broke ...

"I have to say my heart is POUNDING WITH EXCITEMENT for the world to see what I have seen!!!," Rade tweeted ahead of the show. "Only a few more hours! #ESPYS #CaitlynJenner."

Daughter Kylie Jenner, who was among the family members in the audience to support Caitlyn, acknowledged the moment on Twitter after the show. "Mine and Kendall's little tears of joy lol. I love my dad," she wrote. Other than posting a shot of her own ESPYs look, Kim Kardashian had no comment on social media, but Brody Jenner provided a shot of his side of the clan.

Khloe Kardashian delivered a similar shot, infused with Kardashian DNA.

"This transition has been harder on me than anything I could have imagined, and that's the case for so many others besides me," the Olympic gold medalist said in her acceptance speech. "For that reason alone, trans people deserve something vital. They deserve your respect. And from that respect comes a more compassionate community, a more empathetic society, and a better world for all of us."

Caitlyn Jenner thanked predecessors Renée Richards, Chaz Bono, Laverne Cox and Janet Mock, as well as her "buddy" Diane Sawyer, before thanking her family, including her mom and dad.

"It is an honor to have the word 'courage' associated with my life. But on this night another word comes to mind, and that is 'fortunate,' " she said. "I owe a lot to sports. It showed me the world, it has given me an identity. If someone wanted to bully me, well, you know what? I was the MVP of the football team. That wasn't going to be a problem. And the same thing goes tonight. If you want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead, because the reality is I can take it.

"But for the thousands of kids out there who are coming to terms with being true to who they are, they shouldn’t have to take it."
