Caitlyn Jenner gets fanfare she didn’t ask for; celebrities show support
Despite saying that she didn't make her reveal public for fanfare, Caitlyn Jenner's debut on Vanity Fair's July cover on Monday was instantly greeted with it.
The 65-year-old the Olympic athlete, now formerly known as Bruce Jenner, gave the magazine an exclusive interview about transitioning to a woman and narrated a short clip about her physical transformation.
"Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret from morning till night. Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I'm free," Jenner said.
Here's what family, friends and supporters had to say about that newfound freedom.
