Bryce Dallas Howard’s a Size 6 -- and her off-the-rack dress cost $4,800

Bryce Dallas Howard was keeping it real Sunday at the Golden Globes. Or was she? Depends on your definition of real.

The “Jurassic World” star bought her own dress, and she bought it off the rack, and she says she’s a Size 6 -- all things that seem “real,” but also seemed really amazing to red carpet interviewer Giuliana Rancic.

Howard, who was a nominee in 2008, when the writers’ strike meant the show was canceled, was presenting this time. It was her first trip to the Globes.

“Who are you wearing?,” the E! News host asked, because on red carpets that’s the law.

“I’m wearing Jenny Packham,” said Howard.

“Jenny Packham,” Rancic verified. Just in case.

“I just picked it up at Neiman’s,” Howard said. “This week.”

You picked it up yourself?,” Rancic marveled. “You went and bought it yourself? I love that.”

Howard had a good reason for her un-Hollywood-like behavior: “I like having lots of options for a Size 6, as opposed to maybe one option, so I always go to department stores for this kind of stuff.”

“Give me a high five, baby,” said Rancic, who could probably fit three times over in a Size 6 dress.

“I mean it’s just, you know how it is?,” the 34-year-old said.

“Oh,” Rancic commiserated, “I hear ya sister.”

We hear ya too, Bryce. And we also hear that off the rack or not, that sparkly Jenny Packham goes for a cool $4,800.

For real.
