Britney Spears rocks a hot bikini body, confirms Vegas residency

Britney Spears is giving fans a toned taste of what they’re in for when she takes residency in Vegas later this year, flaunting her bod in a white bikini on the June cover of Shape magazine.

Oh, yeah, she also confirmed that she’ll be setting up camp in Las Vegas. Hence the need to whip that 31-year-old body into shape.

“I’m doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio — hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer ...,” Spears told the mag. “The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple — they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”

She’s been working to lose weight through diet in addition to working out (she’s using the Nutrisystem plan) and noted it isn’t easy.

“Dieting is tough … because my specialties are spaghetti, brownies and chocolate chip cookies,” she said.

And in that Deja Soleil bikini? Ain’t no room for chocolate chip cookies.

Brit Brit will set up shop at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino for two years’ worth of shows on alternating weekends, according to the Las Vegas Sun, which predicts casting will begin in late September or early October in L.A.
