Britney Spears wants another baby, preferably a daughter this time around.

The pop singer has revealed that she’s ready for more kids. Spears already has two sons — Sean, 7, and Jayden, 6 — with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The “X Factor alum” alum was being interviewed by “Extra’s” Mario Lopez, who said he was jealous that Spears had boys. Lopez has a baby girl and is expecting another child with wife Courtney Lopez.)

“Awwww, I want a girl,” she said, getting sentimental.

“Oh, you do want a girl! So later on, maybe a little girl? Stay close, it may rub off,” Lopez joked.

“Yes! Hope so,” Spears said.

It isn’t clear if Spears is dating anyone now. Back in January, the singer broke off her engagement with her onetime agent Jason Trawick after only one year. For now, she’s got quite a bit on her plate with her boys, adding that they may have a shot at stardom of their own.

“They do like attention, so I think they would probably be good in the limelight,” she said, laughing. “We’re taking baby steps right now as far as agencies and stuff like that go. They’re little comedians, so, I don’t know, we’ll see.”

The 31-year-old, who covered the June issue of Shape magazine, is currently working on her next album, which will be produced by will.i.am. The duo have already collaborated on will.i.am’s single “Scream & Shout” for his “#willpower” album.

“[will] is so talented. He keeps it so fresh and so interesting,” she said. “We’ve done like two songs so far, and we have so much fun in the studio.”

All this is to prep, including a pretty intense yoga routine, is gearing her up for an upcoming Vegas residency that she’s still negotiating.

“Yes, I am excited. I love Vegas any time I get to go there, so I’m pumped. I haven’t done a show in a really long time, so it’ll be fun.”

The performance, she told Shape, “won’t be simple — they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”

And certainly Brit-Brit wants to ensure that there won’t be a repeat of her tragic MTV VMA performance from 2007.
