Billy Ray Cyrus, Tish Cyrus calling off divorce

Miley Cyrus’ parents are staying married. Again.

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus both filed for divorce -- he in Nashville, she in L.A. -- in mid-June. It wasn’t Billy Ray’s first filing, however. He’d done so once before, in October 2010, but the couple reconciled that time too.

“We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together,” they said Monday in a statement obtained by People.

“We both went into couples therapy something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways.”

They went on to say they didn’t want to be just another statistic.

Billy Ray posted a cozy picture of “date night” with Tish on Instagram over the weekend.

So much for “irreconcilable” differences.
