Beyonce, Jay-Z are highest earning celeb couple; Robsten off list
Watch the throne all you want: Beyonce and Jay-Z are sitting comfortably.
The power couple landed the No. 1 spot on this year’s list of highest earning celebrity couples published annually by Forbes magazine.
Their take for the fiscal year? A reported $78 million. That includes $40 million for Bey, according to the mag, an impressive feat given her time off to carry and give birth to baby Blue Ivy Carter.
Music royalties, her eponymous fragrance and paychecks from a stint of Memorial Day comeback shows in Atlantic City, N.J., contribute to that bottom line. Jay’s earnings stand at $38 million, for his “Watch the Throne” tour (costarring Kanye West) and various business ventures.

Coming in a close second, down from last year’s No. 1: Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. The supermodel is a beast of a moneymaker (with a $1 billion fortune in her sights), raking in $45 million this year from modeling gigs and her clothing collection.
Brady, he of the controversial haircut, brought home $27 million worth of bacon thanks to his four-year contract with the New England Patriots and endorsements for Under Armour and Ugg boots.
Next are David and Victoria Beckham at $54 million (her rapidly growing design empire, his face time for Burger King and Samsung and his contract with the L.A. Galaxy) and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at $45 million (his work on both sides of the camera, her starring roles and Louis Vuitton campaign).
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith round out the list at $40 million, earned purely from their day jobs as actors.
The two top-earning couples count the women of the house as the bigger breadwinners. Run the world, Bey and Gisele. Also, two black couples rate on the list, as opposed to only one in 2011.
Also noteworthy: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart made the list last year, with a $40-million combined income. It’s unknown if they’d have edged out Will and Jada this time around, but no matter. We’re no longer sure they qualify as a couple.
