Amanda Bynes dresses down (in a blue wig) for court date

Amanda Bynes went to court Tuesday for a hearing most noteworthy for what she wore as she headed to see the judge: sweats and a tank top, oversized sunglasses, false eyelashes and, yes, a long blue wig.

Now, not Katy Perry blue — this was more of a light turquoise, down to her waist. And hey, at least this time the wig was combed, unlike the bleached-blond mess she wore to her arraignment for reckless endangerment.

The 27-year-old was arrested May 23 after allegedly rolling a joint and smoking it in the lobby of her New York City apartment building. Police were called, went up to her place and, they said, saw a bong on the kitchen counter.

The star of “She’s the Man” — which co-starred Channing Tatum, incidentally, who remembered that? — then tossed the glass pipe out the window of her 36th-floor apartment, according to prosecutors who have charged her with reckless endangerment and attempted tampering with evidence.

Bynes reportedly claimed the object was just a vase. Which she felt obliged to chuck out the window.

The case was continued until Aug. 26, though Bynes isn’t required to show again until Sept. 26, TMZ said.

Though the seemingly surgery-obsessed former actress tweeted Monday night, “My Surgeon Broke My Nose During My Surgery But Hasn’t Finished My Nose! It’s Still Broken And I Can’t Breathe!,” her nose showed no evidence of bruising in pictures taken as she went into court.
