It’s the 40th anniversary of the fan-based awards, which were started by Dick Clark. In honor of Clark, who passed away in April, Stevie Wonder will perform a tribute.
Among those scheduled to perform at L.A. Live’s Nokia Theatre are Usher, Ke$ha, No Doubt, Kelly Clarkson, The Wanted, Ludacris, Swizz Beats featuring Chris Brown, and of course Justin Bieber, who’s been tweeting about the AMAs for days now, much to his fans’ delight.
Also on the list: Pink, Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Pitbull, Linkin Park, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood
There’s even a dose of summer fun with “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepson and “Gangnam Style” star Psy on the bill.
Refresh the page if you showed up early and are waiting for the video to start ... and if the red carpet’s over in real time, you can still enjoy it taped. Just click play to see who showed and stopped to talk!
