Golden Globes 2013: Judd Apatow all about ‘Girls’ star Lena Dunham
It was a “Girls” night out for Judd Apatow.
The filmmaker was on hand at the Golden Globes on Sunday to lend support to the HBO comedy on which he serves as an executive producer.
“The show is back tonight.... It’s a good way to ring it in,” Apatow said on the red carpet. “I’m so proud of Lena Dunham.”
Not everyone was being as generous with the compliments toward the twentysomething wunderkind.

Shock jock Howard Stern caused a stir recently when he referred to Dunham as “a little fat girl who looks like Jonah Hill” on his satellite radio show.
“I think it was taken out of context,” said Apatow, who has had a contentious relationship with the radio personality in the past. “I don’t think it wasn’t his intention the way it came out.”
