TV ratings: ‘Big Brother’ wins Thursday night for CBS
With tension rising in the house, “Big Brother” was the most-watched and highest-rated telecast Thursday night, bringing in an average 6.87 million viewers and a rating of 2.3 in the key 18-49 demographic, according to early numbers from Nielsen.
CBS, still blacked out for Time Warner Cable subscribers in Los Angeles, New York and Dallas, won the night with 6.12 million viewers and a rating of 1.7. Numbers for all the networks are subject to change because of local coverage of preseason NFL games affecting 5% of the country.
