Charlize Theron’s company and Bunim/Murray team up for reality TV
Charlize Theron’s production company is getting further into the reality TV game.
Denver & Delilah, which produced Theron films including “Monster” and “Young Adult,” has teamed with reality mainstay Bunim/Murray Productions to make unscripted TV programming.
The two companies on Monday announced they have created an unnamed joint venture and have optioned Israeli fashion show “Whose Closet Is it Anyway?” from Keshet International for development in the U.S.

Each episode of the show, which first aired in Israel in 2011, has three women trade wardrobes and try to cope with each other’s different fashion sense.
Earlier this year, the companies teamed to produce “Glam Wars,” a show that follows teams of makeup and hair “glam squads” as they compete for hot Hollywood gigs. The series, which is being produced under the joint venture, is in development for Style.
“As we developed ‘Glam Wars,’ we realized there were so many possible projects to partner on and this joint venture is a natural evolution,” said Gil Goldschein, president of Bunim/Murray Productions, in a statement.
Bunim/Murray, owned by Banijay Group, has produced shows synonymous with the reality TV genre, including MTV’s “The Real World” and E!’s “The Simple Life” and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
Additional projects include “Passport to Love,” a reality dating series based on Banijay Group’s Norwegian “Origins of Love,” and several original concepts in development.
