How to visit the Broad museum

What: Inaugural exhibition will feature works by more than 60 artists, including John Baldessari, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha, Jasper Johns, Barbara Kruger, Cindy Sherman, Mark Bradford, Jeff Koons and Roy Lichtenstein.
Where: 221 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles
Hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays; closed Mondays
Admission: Free
Reservations: They are required if you want to ensure admission at a particular time. Reservations can be made online at www.thebroad.org/tickets. Tickets have entry times beginning every half hour, but visitors can stay as long as they would like until closing.
Walk-up tickets: Some same-day walk-up tickets are available at the on-site ticket counter. Walk-up visitors may be able to enter immediately, or depending on demand they may be asked to return later that day, or they may be asked to reserve a spot for a future date.
Special exhibition: Admission to Yayoi Kusama’s “Infinity Mirrored Room” is free but requires reservations made on-site, first come, first served.
App: Reservations to the museum also can be made via the museum’s smartphone app, which can be downloaded beginning Sept. 20. The app includes free self-guided audio tours.
Dining: Restaurateur Bill Chait’s contemporary American restaurant Otium, with chef Timothy Hollingsworth, is on the Broad plaza at 222 S. Hope St.
Accessibility: The Broad is wheelchair accessible, and service animals are welcome.

Parking: The three-level underground garage has an entrance on 2nd Street between Hope Street and Grand Avenue. The cost with validation is $12; on weekdays before 5 p.m., additional charges apply after three hours. Alternate parking is at the California Plaza garage on Olive Street; it’s $8 with museum validation.
Public transit: The closest Metro station is the Civic Center/Grand Park station on the Purple and Red lines, at 1st and Hill streets. The walk is a few blocks. For bus route information: www.metro.net or www.bigbluebus.com
