La Costa Atlántica beaches are one of the most popular summer destinations for Argentines. For many in South America, the holidays means beach vacations, when the summer is in full bloom. I used to go to La Costa Atlántica with my grandma every year. Now, when I go back, I remember all those memories and honor her memory.

My holidays in La Costa Atlantica

My grandmother used to have a house there in front of the sea where I went with my siblings every January

On a typical day, we used to go to the beach early together
Where we drink make, eat churros with dulce de leche, and play soccer.
Sometimes we would dive in the sea to jump the waves or look for sea shells
And during sunset, we would play Chinchon, a popular card game in Argentina.
At night, everyone used to wander around downtown, whee there were arcade games, street artists and ice cream shops
My grandma loved this place. One day she told me that when she would no longer be with us, I should go to that sea

So every time I go to La Costa, I smile looking at the sea and remember and thank her for all those happy summers.
