Authorities found a woman and her infant daughter after they were believed to have been kidnapped Sunday from their home in Lancaster by the woman’s husband, who also is suspected of having sexually assaulted a family member, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Sabrina Sanchez, 32, and her 2-year-old daughter, Itzel Sanchez, were found Monday by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, according to authorities.

He forced his wife and their daughter to leave their home at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, the Sheriff’s Department said. He recently threatened to kill his wife and daughter and had previously sexually assaulted a family member, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. on the 710 at the 91 Freeway connector, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sanchez is believed to have a handgun. He was last seen driving a silver 2007 Buick Lucerne with Colorado license plate AUI-X94, according to authorities.
