Drug investigators serve warrants in North Hollywood, West Los Angeles
Investigators arrested four people and seized firearms, a kilogram of cocaine and more than 500 pounds of marijuana in a pair of raids in North Hollywood and West Los Angeles, law enforcement authorities said Thursday.
Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department said investigators served the warrants about 1 p.m. Wednesday at a business near the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Riverside Drive.
Investigators also searched a location on Wilshire Boulevard, according to Nicole Nishida, a spokeswoman for the Drug Enforcement Administration, which is leading the investigation.
Collectively, investigators seized from the two sites a kilogram of cocaine, more than 500 pounds of marijuana, seven firearms, $250,000 in cash and jewelry valued at $100,000, Nishida said.
Ronnel Pinopio, 31, Andrei Cheine, 49, William Parsons, 48, and Timothy Vicencio, 26, were arrested on suspicion of drug offenses, Nishida said.
