After report of a woman lying in a pool of blood, 3 bodies found in Hemet home

The bodies of three women were found inside a home in Hemet, and two people were arrested in connection with their deaths, authorities said Thursday.

Officers were sent to the home in the 1400 block of Rabbit Peak Way shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday in response to a report of a woman lying in a pool of blood, the Hemet Police Department said in a news release.

They arrived to find three women dead inside the home, according to investigators. Authorities identified the women as Wendy Lopez-Araiza, 46; Genesis Lopez-Araiza, 21; and Trinity Clyde, 18, but did not say how they died or release any other information about the incident.

Two people were arrested, and no other suspects were being sought, police said in a news release Thursday evening. The suspects’ names were not released.

Police said they will hold a media briefing Friday afternoon and no additional details would be released before then.
