T-Mobile to carry Galaxy Note II, could release on Oct. 24
T-Mobile on Tuesday officially confirmed it will carry the Samsung Galaxy Note II, which it said will be available sometime “in the coming weeks.”
But according to a leaked internal memo, the device could go on sale Oct. 24.
The Seattle-based network didn’t provide a firm release date or pricing but said it will carry the phone in both titanium gray and marble white colors. T-Mobile also said the phone will have 16 GB of storage that can be expanded through a microSD card.
According to an alleged T-Mobile memo, which was posted by TmoNews.com, the phone will release the same day Samsung has scheduled an event that is believed to be related to the Galaxy Note II.
The Galaxy Note II will be T-Mobile’s first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean device. It will feature a 5.5 inch screen.
Additionally, the Galaxy Note II runs on a 1.6 Ghz quad-core Exynos processor. The phone also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. It also features Samsung’s S Pen stylus.
AT&T; and Sprint have also confirmed they will carry the Galaxy Note II.
