Sprint to carry Samsung, HTC Windows Phone 8 devices
Sprint announced two new Windows Phone 8 devices for its lineup that will be capable of connecting to its LTE network: the HTC 8XT and the Samsung Ativ S Neo.
The HTC 8XT is the first Windows Phone 8 device the Taiwanese smartphone maker has outfited with dual front-facing speakers. Between the phone’s two speakers, the 8XT features a 4.3-inch screen.
Additionally, the HTC device has an 8-megapixel rear camera, 8 gigabytes of storage and it runs on a 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
Sprint said the HTC 8XT will be priced at $149.99, with a two-year contract, but a $50 rebate will bring the price down to $99.99.

Additionally, Sprint announced the Ativ S Neo, a Samsung smartphone with a 4.8-inch HD screen. This phone uses a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and comes with an 8-megapixel camera.
Sprint said the Ativ S Neo will be available with a two-year contract for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
No word on when the two devices will go on sale.
The carrier supports LTE in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles.
