New Samsung tablets launching July 7, pre-orders start Tuesday
Samsung will begin selling new versions of its Galaxy Tab tablets next month.
The South Korean tech giant Monday announced the Galaxy Tab 3 will go on sale July 7 and will be available in three different screen sizes.
It will be available with a 7-inch screen for $199, with an 8-inch screen for $299 and a 10.1-inch screen for $399.
Pre-sales for the devices kick off Tuesday. It can be ordered from a variety of retailers, including Best Buy and Wal-Mart, as well as online at Samsung.com.
The Galaxy Tab 3 will be available in white as well as a gold-brown color option. Samsung is also sweetening the deal for its devices by including $10 credit for the Google Play digital store, a three-month subscription to Hulu Plus and two years of access to 50 gigabytes of online storage from Dropbox.
The new tablets are the latest products announced by Samsung, which has been busy expanding its line of Galaxy devices. Most recently, the company announced a professional-caliber camera equipped with Android and the ability to connect to the Internet called the Galaxy NX.
Earlier this month, the company announced a variety of Galaxy S 4 smartphone variants, including the GS4 Active, a rugged smartphone built for the outdoors.
