Customers can try new Samsung Galaxy S5 at Best Buy before sales start
Thinking of buying the new Samsung Galaxy S5? Users can now play with the device at Best Buy stores across the country before it goes on sale on April 11.
Best Buy said it is now displaying the GS5 in stores in most of its major markets.
The upcoming phone is Samsung’s latest flagship device. It features a 5.1-inch, full 1080p HD screen with a 16-megapixel camera and 16-gigabytes of storage. Normally, the device retails for $199.99 with a two-year contract.

In California, the GS5 can be found at Best Buy’s stores in Los Angeles, Colma, Dublin, Hawthorne, Modesto, Oakland, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Carlos, San Francisco, Stockton, Union City, West Covina and West Hollywood.
For a full list of stores that display the device, go to this page on Best Buy’s website and scroll down to the section titled “Take a Sneak Peak.” About 100 Best Buy stores are displaying the device.
In addition to the GS5, these stores also display Samsung’s upcoming Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches as well as the company’s Gear Fit wearable device.
Eager customers can pre-order the GS5 now from AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
