Live video: Google I/O keynote -- new maps, messaging, music?

Google will be giving its keynote speech at 9 a.m. PDT Wednesday at its annual developers conference. The company is expected to reveal a number of new services and products, and you can watch the whole presentation online.

The Silicon Valley giant has set up a live stream for its keynote on YouTube that can be watched on this post, above, as well as on the conference’s website. The keynote is expected to last about three hours.

Google typically uses its Google I/O keynote to announce new products and services, and this year is no exception. The company is expected to reveal a redesigned Google Maps, a new messaging service, a music service similar to Spotify and the second generation of the Nexus 7 tablet, among other things.

But besides the keynote, Google will also be live-streaming much of its content online. Developers and interested users can tune in to the conference’s website to watch the latest live stream as well as see the schedule for the rest of the conference.

Video of the keynote, as well as the other conference sessions, will also be uploaded to YouTube after they have streamed live so that users can go back and watch.
