WATCH: Follow Twitter stock here on its first day of trading
It’s Twitter day on Wall Street as the microblogging site celebrates its first day of trading as a public company.
Things got off to a strong start as the San Francisco company’s stock began trading at $45.10 shortly before 8 a.m. PST.
The stock jumped to $50 in just 10 minutes before it pulled back to about $46, giving Twitter a market value of more than $30 billion.
On Wednesday, Twitter priced its 70 million shares at $26, above the expected range of $23 to $25.
