Burning Man 2013 features the weird, astonishing and beautiful
Burning Man wrapped another year of the weird and wonderful as thousands of people gathered in the Nevada desert for the week-long art festival.
Federal officials estimated that more than 61,000 people attended the festival this year, which featured the theme “Cargo Cult,” which celebrated the mythical arrival of some alien visitor.

This year’s attendance may represent a new record for Burning Man, which just a decade ago drew half as many people.
