Apple’s website confirming iPhone 5 by accident?
Apple.com might be giving away some of Tim Cook’s announcements planned for Wednesday, according to multiple reports.
Nine to 5 Mac is saying that you can see some of what Apple has planned for its announcement Wednesday if you use the search function on the company’s website.
Among the secrets being divulged is the name of the next iPhone, which seems like it will be called the iPhone 5.
If you go to this link, you can see various search results for the term “iPhone 5” that include a couple of URLs with the name in them.
Other secrets the search function seems to be revealing include mentions of new iPod Nanos and iPod Touches. Apple.com’s search is also confirming LTE on the iPhone 5 and it looks like the latest version of iTunes will also be announced.
Apple will be announcing all of this officially at 10 a.m. PDT, and we’ll be covering it live. But it looks like the cat’s already out of the bag.
