Apple may release an iPad with 128-gigabyte storage, report says
Apple is reportedly preparing to release another version of its fourth-generation iPad and it could be one with 128 gigabytes of storage space.
Apple news website 9 to 5 Mac reports that several sources have said the Cupertino, Calif., tech company is readying a new version of its latest 9.7-inch screen iPad model. While sources didn’t confirm what makes this new iPad different, 9 to 5 Mac reports that it will likely have additional storage space based off recent findings in iTunes 11 and the code for the latest developer version of iOS 6.1.
The new iPad will be available for $799 for Wi-Fi only version and $929 for the cellular-enabled one, both of which would be $100 more than the 64 GB versions of the Wi-Fi only and cellular iPads, the report says.

The report also says this new iPad model isn’t the fifth generation of the device and will not feature a design overhaul. It’ll simply be an addition to the latest version of the iPad.
Nine to 5 Mac also says that Apple could simply be designing this version of the iPad for government agencies or for internal use and not release it to the public.
For now, 9 to 5 Mac says there aren’t any signs or sources that point to an 128 GB iPad mini model.
The report does not specify how soon users might see the 128 GB iPad.
