Apple kicks off ’12 Days of Gifts’ with Justin Timberlake giveaway
Christmas is over but users can keep getting gifts by downloading Apple’s 12 Days of Gifts app, which is giving away free videos of Justin Timberlake performances Thursday.
Apple released the promotional app earlier this month and will be giving users a free daily digital present -- music videos, songs, apps, etc. -- starting Thursday and ending on Jan. 6.
On the first day of gifts, Apple is letting users download four live songs from Justin Timberlake’s performance at the 2013 iTunes Festival in London. “SexyBack,” one of Timberlake’s most popular songs, is among the included performances.

Apple has done 12 Days of Gifts promotions in the past, but not in the U.S. This is the first time the Cupertino, Calif., company brings the holiday-themed giveaway stateside.
Although the Timberlake giveaway is the gift for the first day of the promotion, Apple gave an gift to early users of the app last week. The gift was a free song from Lorde.
