Having moved on to larger accommodations in Hancock Park earlier this year, Damon Wayans is ready to part with his ocean view on the Westside. The comic actor has put his condo in Santa Monica on the market for $6.5 million.

At that price, the comic actor stands to more than double his money on the condo — records show he bought the property in 2005 for $3 million.

The 3,093-square-foot pied-a-terre is in a 16-unit building constructed in 1997 and is one of only four top-floor condos. An open floor plan includes a formal dining room, a living room with a fireplace, an eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

A den is currently being used as a media room/office, and there’s also an enclosed laundry room off the kitchen. The master suite, with two walk-in closets, his and hers bathrooms and a fireplace, takes in views of Palisades Park and the coastline.

An ocean-facing balcony is shared by the common areas and the master bedroom.

Other perks of the residence include 24-hour concierge service and access to a workout facility and a rooftop lounge with a swimming pool. Two parking spaces are included with the unit.

Curt Northrup and John Iglar of Teles Properties hold the listing.

For Wayans, entertainment is a family business. Among his siblings are actors Marlon Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Dwayne Wayans. He is the father of actor Damon Wayans Jr.; actor-writer-producer Damien Dante Wayans is his nephew.

The 55-year-old got his start in stand-up and created the comedy “In Living Color” in 1990 with his brother Keenan. Among his credits are the film comedies “Major Payne” (1995) and “Blankman” (1994) as well as the TV series “My Wife and Kids” (2001-05).

In March, Wayans closed on a home in the Hancock Park area for $5.35 million. The traditional-style compound, built in 1949 and extensively updated, includes a main house, a guesthouse, a swimming pool and a pool house on nearly half an acre — plenty of room for immediate- and extended-family gatherings.

Scene change for TV doctor

Actor-director Eriq La Salle, known for his role as Dr. Peter Benton in the long-running series “ER,” has bought a home in Bel-Air for $3.03 million.

Sitting on a crest above Stone Canyon Reservoir, the T-shaped ranch house has views of the surrounding hillsides, mountains and ocean. Steps lead down the sloping property to trails and the reservoir below.

Within the 2,400 square feet of white-walled space is a living/dining room area, a center-island kitchen, a den, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A guesthouse has another en suite bedroom.

Rows of sliding glass doors open to multiple patios, garden beds, lawns and a swimming pool. A two-car garage sits off the entrance to the home.

The house went on the market in April for $3.495 million, records show. The sellers were television and film producer Ralph Singleton and his wife, screenwriter Joan Singleton.

Amy Colvin Kaz of John Aaroe Group was the listing agent. Andrew Dinsky of PLG Estates represented La Salle.

La Salle, 53, has a host of television and film credits, plus a few for directing and producing. He appeared in the 1988 film “Coming to America” and has been in the series “A Gifted Man” and “Under the Dome.”

He is reportedly set to join the cast of the third “Wolverine” movie.

Their house is a traditional hit

Nick Carter no longer wants it that way.

The Backstreet Boys singer-songwriter and his wife, actress Lauren Kitt Carter, have put their estate behind gates in Hidden Hills on the market for $4.25 million.

The traditional-style home, built in 1956 and since updated, sits on 1.32 acres of pastoral grounds and is accompanied by a newly built guesthouse. A chicken coop built in the style of the main house also sits on the grounds.

Reached by a private drive, the 5,200-square-foot house has a classic yet contemporary look. Wide-plank hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and subdued hues are among details of note. Bathroom and kitchen countertops feature vibrant Calcutta marble.

Living areas include an open great room, a dining room, a chef’s kitchen, a den/office and a game/family room with an aquarium. An oversized master suite — with a fireplace, two walk-in closets and a steam shower — has a balcony that overlooks the grounds.

Sliding glass doors off the main level open to a covered patio with a fire-pit feature. Stone steps lead down to a swimming pool and spa.

The Carters bought the house a year ago for $3.65 million, records show.

Andrew Mortaza of Keller Williams Realty holds the listing.

Carter, 36, has been with the Backstreet Boys since their inception in 1993 and has also released three solo records. He and the band are reportedly working on a ninth studio album, due out later this year.

Kitt Carter hosts the fitness series “Kitt Fit” on YouTube and has also appeared on the daytime series “One Life to Live.” More recently, she appeared with her husband in the Syfy movie “Dead 7.”

Former professional football player and Heisman-winning quarterback Matt Leinart has bought a home in Manhattan Beach for $2.245 million.

Located near Mira Costa High School, Leinart’s new two-story home has about 3,600 square feet — quite a bit more room than the nearby 2,135-square-foot home he sold last year.

Fun features include a lighted basketball half-court, a tetherball pole, a swimming pool and a spa. A patch of grass and a two-car garage sit off the front of the house, which was built in 1995.

Among other details of note are vaulted ceilings, chandelier fixtures and wide-plank wood floors. A living room with a fireplace opens to a formal dining room and an adjacent center-island kitchen.

A great room, an office, five bedrooms and four bathrooms are also within the home. The master suite, with walk-in closets, a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub, has windows that overlook the walled and hedged grounds.

The property came up for sale in April for $2.299 million. It previously changed hands more than a decade ago for $1.419 million, records show.

Jan Rhees of Partners Trust Real Estate was the listing agent. Nicholas Schneider of Palm Realty Boutique repped Leinart.

Leinart, 32, was a standout at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana and later won a Heisman Trophy as a member of the USC Trojans. The former first-round NFL draft pick retired in 2014 after six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders.

He currently works as a studio analyst for Fox Sports’ college football coverage.

Seeking an heir to his Malibu throne

Philanthropist Steve Hilton, a grandson of late hotel scion Conrad Hilton and the former president of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, has put his oceanfront home in Malibu on the market for $10.4 million.

Found within gated Malibu Cove Colony, the three-story house was renovated in 2010 by architect Jay Vanos and has surf-facing decks extending off each floor. Sweeping views take in the nearby Paradise Cove Pier, coastline and Catalina Island.

The 3,385 square feet of refined interiors feature walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, light hardwood floors and cabinets built to resemble art installations. Adding an exotic touch, a circular staircase wraps around a custom saltwater aquarium at the entrance to the home.

An open living room with a fireplace, a modern chef’s kitchen, an office/den, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms lie within the floor plan. The master suite has a fireplace, a sitting area and a glass-enclosed steam shower.

Skylights and glass partitions filter natural light throughout the interiors.

A walled courtyard sits off the entrance and contains a tiled hot tub and an outdoor fireplace. There’s also an attached two-car garage.

Hilton bought the house from the estate of late actor Robert Ridgely in 2007 for $7.1 million. An avid surfer, he intends to find a new home closer to his favorite surfing spot.

Kate Pritchett-Skene of Pritchett-Rapf & Associates holds the listing.

Hilton joined the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in 1983 and oversaw the foundation’s worldwide humanitarian work. He previously held the positions of chief executive and president for the foundation before retiring at the end of 2015.
