Three-time Super Bowl champion Willie McGinest has sold a plot of land in Calabasas for $4 million.

Spanning about two acres, the parcel rests at the peak of the Estates at the Oaks, a double-gated enclave that is home to a number of athletes and celebrities including Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Paul Pierce and Mitch Richmond, among others.

McGinest, who maintains a nearby residence in the affluent community, had asked as much as $4.4 million for the property last year. Records show that he purchased the land in 2005 for $2.4 million.

Jordan Cohen of RE/MAZ Olson & Associates listed the property on behalf of McGinest, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Tomer Fridman of Ewing Sotheby’s International Real Estate represented the buyer in the sale.

McGinest, 42, enjoyed an All-American career at Long Beach Poly and USC before being made the 4th overall pick by New England in the 1994 draft. He retired in 2009 after 15 seasons with Patriots and Browns.

While his land has gone to a new owner, still up for grabs is the two-time Pro Bowler’s condo residence in Quincy, Mass. McGinest currently is asking $644,900 for the 1,976-square-foot unit at the Marina Point Condominiums in Marina Bay.
