Wayne Gretzky lists Westlake Village remodel at $10.5 million
Wayne Gretzky, the ice hockey legend, has put an estate up for sale in Westlake Village at $10.5 million.
Set in a gated community, the 8,711-square-foot house, built in 2006, is entered through a courtyard with fountain. Double doors open to spacious rooms with vaulted and beamed ceilings, elaborate crown molding, built-ins, several fireplaces, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The acre site includes a dining and barbecue center and a swimming pool with a spa.
A wall opens in the gym to face the swimming pool.
Striking contemporary in Beverly Crest
Gretzky, 53, played in the NHL for two decades before turning to coaching. The former Los Angeles King and Hockey Hall of Famer earned the nickname “The Great One” on his way to becoming the leading point scorer in league history.
He bought the property in 2000 for $2.76 million and embarked on a massive renovation, reported Realestalker, which spotted the listing.
Nicole Van Parys of Engel & Voelkers is the listing agent.
