‘Harry Potter’s’ Tom Felton sells Nichols Canyon pad for over the asking price
Actor Tom Felton of “Harry Potter” film fame has sold his home in Hollywood Hills West for $1.625 million, or $176,000 over the asking price of $1.449 million.
Found in the lower Nichols Canyon area, the 1920s home features an open floor plan, large picture windows and a den with three walls of built-in bookshelves. There are two fireplaces with brick surrounds, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom.
There are two bedrooms and 2.75 bathrooms in more than 1,700 square feet of living space. A detached guesthouse/studio with a kitchen and bathroom also sits on the property.
Outdoors, brickwork and mosaic tile add embellishment to the swimming pool. A long covered porch/patio sits off the front of the home.
Felton bought the house two years ago for $1.275 million, according to property records.
Eli Karon of Teles Properties was the listing agent. Megan Charboneau of John Aaroe Group represented the buyer.
The 29-year-old Felton has television and film credits that include “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” (2011), “Against the Sun” (2014) and the series “Murder in the First.” More recently, he appeared in the CW superhero show “The Flash.”
