Producer-entrepreneur Oren Koules, whose credits include the sitcom “Two and a Half Men” and the “Saw” horror films, has listed a beachfront home in Ventura that elicits a much different reaction than the horror franchise.

Listed for $4.99 million, the house boasts ocean views from two levels and 45 feet of beach frontage. Wood accents create visual interest on the exterior, and inside, open-plan living spaces are filled with oversized windows.

A chef’s kitchen, dining area and living room with a fireplace make up the main level. Upstairs, vaulted ceilings hang over the lounge and master suite, complete with a sitting area and private balcony. The 3,392-square-foot house has a total of six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Outdoors, an L-shaped deck wraps around half of the home. The side portion is anchored by a pool and eucalyptus tree, and the beachfront area holds a fire pit next to built-in seating.

A two-car garage and long driveway provide parking for eight.

The property last changed hands in 2012 for $1.71 million, records show.

Desti Centineo-Mabee and Michele Losey of RE/MAX Gold Coast hold the listing.

Koules, 56, formed Evolution Entertainment with Mark Burg in 1998. The film production company produced the “Saw” franchise and a few other films, including “Death Sentence” (2007) and “Dallas Buyers Club” (2013).

He also became the majority owner and CEO of the Tampa Bay Lightning after his LLC bought the NHL team in 2008, but he sold the team in 2010.
