‘Star Trek’ films’ Nicholas Meyer sells Palisades home for $5.4 million
Nicholas Meyer, the screenwriter, novelist and “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” director, has sold his Pacific Palisades house for $5.407 million.
The two-story Cliff May-designed home, built in 1937, centers on a tree-shaded flagstone courtyard and sits on more than three-quarters of an acre.
Among original details in the 8,222 square feet of living space are archways, decorative ironwork on the stairway banister, the stairwell chandelier, bay windows, three wood-burning fireplaces and beamed ceilings.
The house, guest house and swimming pool compound has an oversized kitchen with an island, a library, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Meyer, 68, has written and directed several “Star Trek” movies as well as “Time After Time” (1979). He is working on the TV miniseries “Houdini.”
He bought the property in 1995 for $1,841,000, according to public records.
Mary Beth Woods and Darby C. Gardner of Coldwell Banker were the listing agents. Woods also represented the buyer.
