Mary J. Blige lists her New Jersey mansion with indoor basketball court
Singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige and her husband, music executive Kendu Isaacs, have listed their home in Saddle River, N.J., for sale at $13 million.
The 4.2-acre estate centers on a mansion of 13,173 square feet including two dining rooms, a library, a wine cellar and a screening room. The well-appointed kitchen, which opens to a great room, has two islands, custom cabinets and a sunroom.
The master suite features dual bathrooms, plus dual closets and an espresso station, for a total of eight bedrooms, ten full bathrooms and three powder rooms.
The New Jersey winters apparently are no excuse for skipping a workout: There’s an indoor basketball court, a gym, a sauna and a steam room.
The three-level residence, built in 2000, has two grand staircases and an elevator.
Terraces, a swimming pool and pool house are among other amenities.
The property was purchased seven years ago for $12.3 million.
Blige, 44, is a nine-time Grammy winning hip-hop and soul singer. She has released a dozen albums including “My Life.” Her most recent album, “The London Sessions,” came out last year.
