Ludacris buys home in Hollywood Hills, sells in West L.A.
Actor-rapper Ludacris finished 2013 with a flourish, buying a home in Hollywood Hills for $4.8 million and selling a penthouse condo in West Los Angeles for $879,000, The Times has confirmed. He has a second condo for sale in the same building at $879,000.
The contemporary home the three-time Grammy winner bought was built in 1985 and includes a master bedroom suite with dual bathrooms, dressing closets, a fireplace and a wet bar.
There are a total of four fireplaces, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms in the 5,854-square-foot home.
Among other features are a home theater, walls of glass, a wine cellar and an infinity-edge swimming pool.
Hamptons-inspired estate in Newport Beach
Both condos have two bedrooms and more than 2,000 square feet of living space. He paid $1.03 million in 2007 for the penthouse condo he sold, reported Trulia, which broke the news of the transactions.
Ludacris, 36, will release his latest album, “Ludaversal,” this year. Among his hit songs are “Money Maker” and “Area Codes.” He has appeared in the “Fast & Furious” film series and has scores of television soundtrack credits.
Rande Gray, Ron Keinan and Ariel Shram of Keller Williams were the listing agents for the Hollywood Hills home. Maya Vander of Keller Williams represented Ludacris in the purchase. Stephanie Franklin and Dick Franklin of Gibson International have the listing on the condo for sale.
