‘NYPD Blue’ actress Kim Delaney collars a buyer in Beverly Hills

Finding a buyer for her Beverly Hills home proved to be an open-and-shut case for actress Kim Delaney.

Listed for sale in early May for $7.995 million, the Spanish Revival-style house was under contract in about 20 days and closed sale on Monday for $7.75 million.

Set back from the street on about half an acre, the 1920s residence is distinguished by such original details as a tiled exterior entry, round tiled foyer and stained glass windows with wrought iron grills.

Within the 5,264 square feet of space are archways connecting a formal dining room, a family room with floor-to-ceiling glass and den with a wet bar and fireplace. A formal dining room with custom built-ins has seating for up to 10 to 12, while a cook’s kitchen and breakfast area open to the outdoors.

There are six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms including a detached guest casita. Various patios, a large expanse of grass and a swimming pool and spa make up the grounds.

Delaney, 53, is known for her on the TV series “Army Wives” and “NYPD Blue,” the latter of which won her an Emmy as best supporting actress. She will play Mary Todd Lincoln in the miniseries “To Appomattox,” due out later this year.

She bought the house in 2003 for $1.5 million, records show.
