‘Vampire Diaries’ creator Kevin Williamson sells Mediterranean house in Beverly Grove
Writer-producer Kevin Williamson has sold his gated house in the Beverly Grove area for $3.05 million.
The “Dawson’s Creek” and “Vampire Diaries” creator bought a renovated century-old home in L.A.’s Windsor Square area about six months ago for $8.1 million.
The contemporary Mediterranean he just sold has a formal entry with ceilings open to the second level, living and dining rooms, a kitchen with two wine refrigerators, a den, a study, two master suites and two other bedrooms. There are a total of 4.5 bathrooms.
The airy 4,600 square feet of interiors are wired with a built-in audio system.
Folding walls of glass open to a covered outdoor entertainment area with a fireplace, and a swimming pool with a waterfall and spa sit at the back of the house. A second-story terrace overlooks the pool.
Williamson, a screenwriter for three installments of the “Scream” film series and the series “Stalker,” paid $2.4 million for the property four years ago.
Rory Barish of Keller Williams was the listing agent. Eric Lavey of The Agency represented the buyer.
