The Malibu home of blockbuster producer Joel Silver, whose credits include the “Lethal Weapon,” “Die Hard” and “Matrix” franchises, is on the market for $57.5 million, and new photos have offered up a glimpse inside the oceanfront spread.

Tucked behind gates in the Carbon Beach area, the 1930s two-story has a courtyard entry and 137 feet of beach frontage. The subdued interiors incorporate exposed brickwork, beamed ceilings and dark wood floors. Walls of floor-to-ceiling glass center on unobstructed ocean views.

The two-story floor plan contains a two-story great room, a dining room with a fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. A lofted office space sits above the living room, and the master suite has glass doors that open to a private balcony.

Outdoors, a large swath of brickwork surrounds the swimming pool and spa. A row of cabanas sits off one end of the tennis court. There’s also a detached guesthouse with two bedroom suites.

Silver bought the property more than a decade ago from late film producer Robert Chartoff, records show.

Judy Feder of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, holds the listing.

Silver, 64, has produced scores of films, including this year’s action-comedy “The Nice Guys.” His upcoming works include “Suburbicon,” a mystery-comedy written by the Coen brothers, and a reboot of the “Predator” franchise.
