Beverly Hills estate of producer Jerry Weintraub lists for sale at $25 million
The longtime home of late Hollywood producer and talent manager Jerry Weintraub has come to market in Beverly Hills for $25 million.
The contemporary-style house and detached guesthouse sit on more than an acre of hedged and gated grounds with a lighted tennis court, a swimming pool, gardens and a motor court with parking for as many as 25 vehicles.
Completely renovated a decade ago, the main house has walls of glass, a media room with a wet bar, a wine cellar and an elevator. Formal living and dining rooms, a chef’s kitchen, an office and a game room are also within the 7,300 square feet of interior space.
The master retreat features a sitting room, a study, a gym and his and hers bathrooms and closets. In all, there are five bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Outdoors, the secluded setting centers on the pool, which has a spa and waterfall and fire features. Adjacent is a built-in barbecue and patio.
There’s also a three-car garage.
Weintraub and his wife, Jane Morgan, bought the property in 1974 for $165,000, public records show.
Fred Bernstein of Westside Estate Agency is the listing agent.
Weintraub, who died last year at 77, promoted and managed such stars as John Denver, Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan. As a producer, his credits include the blockbuster “Karate Kid” and “Ocean’s” film franchises.
