L.A. Rams’ James Laurinaitis puts his St. Louis-area home up for sale
James Laurinaitis, now the face of the Los Angeles Rams franchise, has put his home in the suburbs of St. Louis, Mo., up for sale at $2.3 million.
Set on more than an acre in Creve Coeur, an area roughly 30 minutes west of St. Louis, the contemporary prairie-style home has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms in more than 5,000 square feet of space.
Three floors of living done in white oak floors include a great room with clerestory windows, a formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen with a wide center island. A finished entertainment level of 2,700 square feet has a media room, a climate-controlled wine cellar and a wet bar.
A spa-like bathroom with an open-air shower and soaking tub highlight the master suite.
Glass doors open to a covered patio with an outdoor dining area and kitchen. Formal landscaping, a fire pit and a saltwater swimming pool and raised spa complete the setting.
Laurinaitis, 29, is entering the fourth year of a five-year, $41.5 million extension he signed in 2012. The linebacker has started every game for the Rams since being taken in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
He bought the house three years ago for $1.8 million, records show.
Aurora Lane of Jane McAfee Inc. is the listing agent.
