Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are ready to give up their rural spread in Ojai
Actors Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have put their country home in Ojai on the market at $4.25 million.
Set on what was once the site of the Ojai Foothills Hotel, the more than 5-acre property takes in views of the surrounding hillsides and mountains.
The stately 4,177-square-foot main house, custom built in 1982, has a portico entry, a gabled roof and dormer windows. Family and dining rooms, a breakfast room, four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms are among the living spaces. There are four fireplaces.
Solar power and a swimming pool with a spa are among the amenities.
Blunt, 32, has starred in such films as this year’s “Sicario,” “Edge of Tomorrow” (2014) and “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” (2011). Look for her next year in “The Girl on the Train” and “The Huntsman.”
Krasinski, 36, starred on the comedy series “The Office” from 2005 to 2013. This year he was in the movie “Aloha” with Bradley Cooper.
The couple paid $2.15 million for the getaway three years ago.
Patricia Waltcher of Coldwell Banker Property Shoppe is the listing agent.
