Charlie Sheen continues real estate shake-up, lists Sherman Oaks estate
Charlie Sheen has put a home in Sherman Oaks’ Mulholland Estates community on the market for $6.099 million.
The listing comes roughly one month after the actor sold another home in the same guard-gated enclave for $6.6 million in an off-market transaction.
Backing a hillside on close to an acre, the Spanish-style house is entered through a gated courtyard with a fountain feature.
Inside, two floors of living space include family and dining rooms, a movie theater and an office. A chef’s kitchen has a wide center island.
There are fireplaces in the formal living room, den and master suite. In all, the house has five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a powder room in 6,625 square feet of living space.
Multiple patios, a fire pit and a swimming pool and spa are within the palm-topped grounds.
Sheen, who owns other property in the Los Angeles area, bought the house from Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores in 2012, records show. Paradigm Talent Agency chairman Sam Gores and his ex-wife, actress Jensen Buchanan, are among other former owners.
Jill Lowy of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is the listing agent.
Sheen, 50, has starred in such television comedies as “Spin City,” “Two and a Half Men” and, most recently, “Anger Management.” He is one of Martin Sheen’s sons.
